GF Summer Timetable, Xmas/New Year Timetable and opening hours
The UC RecCentre closes on Sunday 20th December, 2015 at 9pm.
We reopen on Tuesday 5th January, 2016 at 6am.
The Group Fitness Summer Timetable takes effect Monday 16th November, 2015.
The Xmas/New Year Timetable will take effect from Monday 14th December until Sunday 20th December, 2015.
No classes will run during our closure period (see above).
The Xmas/New Year Timetable starts again from Tuesday 5th January until Sunday 10th January, 2016.
The Summer Timetable kicks in again from Monday 11th January until Sunday 21st February, 2016.
The full timetable returns with the students from Monday 22nd February, 2016. Details to be advised next year.....watch this space!
Sportshall and Fitness Centre Temporary Closure - Monday 14 December 2pm - Thursday 17 December 2pm
We are replacing the flooring in the Fitness Centre, which means we need to move all of the equipment out, and into the sportshall. During this time, the sportshall and the fitness centre, including the weights equipment within it, will be out of bounds. We have alternative cardio upstairs cardio mezzanine, and the circuit and boxing rooms will be open with TRX, strength bags and floor space for bodyweight and functional training. Group Fitness classes will run as usual from the gymnasium and spin studios.
The moving starts on Monday 14th December at 2pm. We expect to have it all back up and running by Thursday 17th December at 2pm.

The Gymnasium is currently being prepped for painting. The primer can be a bit whiffy, so if you're very sensitive to such smells, then please avoid the gymnasium and mezzanine (ab/stretching) areas. Alternative ab/stretch areas are in the squash wing, in the circuit room (far end), and the boxing room. If you feel faint or unwell, please head to reception so we may assist you. Thanks.
