Group Fitness Mega Class!
Sweat, Smile and Repeat! 75mins of fitness fun incorporating all of our class styles in one uber mega class! (except spin of course...) Join our crew of instructors for a super fun session - Wednesday 3rd June at 5.10pm. Prizes, fun and frivolity, what more could you ask for? PLUS those in the group fitness challenge can choose any of the class styles to stamp off (so you might not have to do that FULL class you've been avoiding...)
All other classes from 4.10pm will be cancelled, except for 6.10pm Spin with Kris.
Spin Enduro - have you got what it takes?
Join Korina and Amanda on Monday 8th June at 5.10pm for 75mins of spin action! Prizes, giveaways, and challenges like you've never seen before! Registrations are advised, so book your saddle now at reception. It costs just $5 for the most exhilarating ride of your life!
New in Term 2 - free 30min introductory sessions to get you set up to train with kettlebells, swissballs and suspension training. Bookings advised (via reception).
Also keep an eye out for our Seminars and Workshops, between 1-2 hours in length. A small charge will apply, in the region of $10 per session. Topics will include foam rolling, nutrition for gym bunnies and nutrition for Fat Loss.
Why pay $4 per 1/2 hour court booking, when you can pay less? Squash concession cards are available again - save money, save time at the desk. $30 for 10x 30min bookings, or if you join the UC Squash Club you can get your hands on them for only $20! Contact UC Squash club for more details on how to join, their club nights, meeting others to play squash with and how to get your hands on those half price concession cards!
Free Gym Programmes
Did you know that StartMe gym programmes are free for all members? So, if you have always wanted to venture into the weights/cardio areas, but not sure where to start, let us show you! Simply book at reception (max of 2 people per session, so yes, you can come with a friend) to get your free starter programme.
Group Fitness Challenge
The 2015 Group Fitness Challenge is going strong, and we can still take registrations, it's not too late. Sustain your motivation by signing up to complete 100 Group Fitness classes or Small Group Training sessions in 6months! Loads of prizes and fun along the way to the grand prize of $500. See if you can find someone already in the challenge to 'refer you' and be in to win!
Queen's Birthday Weekend
The RecCentre will be open on Monday 1st June from 8am - 12pm and 4pm - 8pm. Classes will run at 5.10pm and 6.10pm only.
